LYSL Mission
Litchfield Youth Soccer League is an all volunteer non-profit corporation dedicated to providing the opportunity to play soccer to the children of Litchfield. Litchfield Youth Soccer League does this through the formation and support of recreational, developmental, and competitive soccer teams and the provision of equipment, coach and referee training, and field access.
--------------------- Cougar Cubs soccer is for kids that are a year too young for our Instructional recreation league (birth dates from 10/01/06 to 9/30/07). The Cubs will meet each Saturday at 9:00am at GMS for one hour from September 11th to October 23rd (skipping Columbus Day weekend - October 9th) for a total of 6 sessions. Players will be given a shirt and should wear shin guards and bring a size 3 soccer ball. Each week players will be taught and practice basic soccer skills. The goal of the sessions is to help players become excited about soccer and have fun!! Fall Cougar Cubs soccer registration is open until August 28th. There will be 2 summer soccer camps offered at Innes field (located on Brickyard Drive). One from July 5th - 9th and another from August 2nd - 6th. Both soccer camps are being run by "Brazilian Art Soccer Training".

--------------------- Players must be born on or before 7/31/2003 and have played in either the Litchfield travel program or recreational program during the 2009/2010 season. A parent will need to complete a waiver form the first night the child attends. Cougar Soccer Camp 2010 --------------------- Fall recreation soccer registration is open until August 28th.
